Jim Fogarty is a Managing Director with Alvarez & Marsal and a member of the firm's Executive Committee for North America Commercial Restructuring.
In more than 13 years with A&M, Mr. Fogarty has served in interim management and advisory roles to both troubled companies with complex financial and operating issues and healthy companies with underperforming operations. Mr. Fogarty served as CEO of American Italian Pasta Company from September 2005 through February 2008. He served as CFO at Levi Strauss & Co. from December 2003 through March 2005 and as CFO of The Warnaco Group from December 2001 through September 2003. Prior to Warnaco, he held senior management positions with and provided advisory services to several other companies.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Fogarty spent four years with the Corporate Transactions Group of KPMG Peat Marwick.
Mr. Fogarty holds a bachelor's degree in economics and computer science from Williams College, and a master's in accounting and an MBA from the Leonard Stern School of Business at New York University.
