Louis Samson oversees all financial, operating, technical and legal aspects of M&A transactions executed by his team. His responsibilities include valuation, due diligence, transaction structuring, contract negotiation and financing. Mr. Samson brings significant domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions expertise to his role at Platinum, having completed over 45 deals in broad variety of industry sectors.
Prior to joining Platinum, he worked for investment bank CIBC World Markets in New York, where he was a Managing Director in the Mergers & Acquisitions Group. Prior to his investment banking career, Mr. Samson was an M&A lawyer with Stikeman Elliot.
