David L. Horing, Managing Director, has been a partner at American Securities for more than a dozen years and oversees our efforts in the direct marketing sector. He also leads our Resources Group, a team of 15 professionals that is focused on implementing specialized activities with portfolio companies to enhance strategy and help manage operational improvements. David is Chairman of the Board of Weasler Engineering and NEP Broadcasting, and a director of Oreck Corporation and Healthy Directions. Before joining American Securities, David spent seven years at The Dyson-Kissner-Moran Corporation, a middle-market private equity investment firm. He previously worked in Solomon Brothers’ Investment Banking division and at The Boston Consulting Group. David received two BS degrees from the University of Pennsylvania, one in Economics from the Wharton School and the other in Engineering from the School of Engineering & Applied Science. He also earned an MBA degree from Harvard Business School.
